The summer Sunday schedule for worship (June 20^th through September 5^th) will be: 8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite I, and 10:00 a.m. Sung Eucharist, Rite II. There will be no mid-hour through these dates, but we will still have coffee hour following both services.

Sunday, August 15, Church of the Atonement, 5749 N. Kenmore, Chicago. *Mark your calendars! The day will begin with Mass at 11am, and a beach picnic will follow at the Kathy Osterman or Hoolywood Beach - just one block east. Atonement will supply the meat, you are invited to bring a side dish and/or beverages, and are encouraged to bring your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc... for a day in the sun! RSVP to Jeff Eng: (773)726-0267.

Please mark your calendars to volunteer on August 3 & 31 to house and feed the homeless! St. Barnabas will be responsible for those dates. We are also looking for twin-size blankets, new or used.

New work By Timothy R. Botts, the artist who did the calligraphy paintings in our entry way and coffee area, will be on display from March 4th through September 8th at the Billy Graham Center Museum of Wheaton College. For more details, see the postcard on the information board.

The Education for Ministry (EfM) program provides people from all walks of life with the education "to be" Christians and to carry out their ministry.  EfM is: a world-wide program ; prayer and worship in a community of study; a small seminar group.  EfM includes: thought provoking texts; theological reflection study of church history and theology.  EfM might be just what you are seeking.  There is still space available.
