Transition Support Speaker

Financial Options for People in Transition who don’t have Unemployment Benefits: On Wednesday September 8th the St. Barnabas Transition Support Group will host Brian Ramaker, Financial Advisor for Edward Jones. Mr. Ramaker will be discussing financial options for people in transition who don’t have unemployment benefits or are about to lose their benefits. The meeting is open to everyone who is or who knows someone in job transition. The St. Barnabas Transition Support Group is open to people of all religious beliefs. The group focuses on supporting those in life transition in a safe and supportive atmosphere. We begin with Morning Prayer at 8:00 followed by fellowship, coffee and the support group meeting starting around 8:30. INFORMAL NETWORKING, INFORMATION & PRAYER. For more information, click here.

FESTI-FALL

Join us on Sunday, September 12th for the St. Barnabas “Festi – Fall” between the 8:00 and 10:30 services, and again after the second service. St. Barnabas Commissioners will be stationed in the Undercroft (church basement) to display and answer questions about the programs and ministries they sponsor throughout the parish. Coffee hour snacks will be served, and there will be games and fun. There will also be a raffle. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what the Spirit is doing in and through the congregation of St. Barnabas.

The Education for Ministry (EfM) program provides people from all walks of life with the education "to be" Christians and to carry out their ministry.  EfM is: a world-wide program ; prayer and worship in a community of study; a small seminar group.  EfM includes: thought provoking texts; theological reflection study of church history and theology.  EfM might be just what you are seeking.  There is still space available.
